Every piece in our shop begins the same way — with a vision. A color, a memory, a room that needs something extraordinary. Our custom order service exists for those who want that vision to be entirely their own.

Whether you have a clear idea or just a feeling, we'll guide you through the possibilities — the species, the arrangement, the vessel — until the piece feels unmistakably right. We work with bespoke modern and antique hand-blown glass domes, from 12” to 26” in height, in a variety of shapes. Custom commissions start at $1,200, for a small modern dome with a single butterfly or beetle rod, and at around $2,500 for the more intricate dioramas with butterflies pinned on branches.

Our pieces are carried by some of the most discerning specialty stores in the country — Creel & Gow in New York, Isles Studios in Minneapolis, Wentworth by GBS in Charleston. A custom commission gives you direct access to the same craft, made specifically around your vision.

Most pieces are ready within two to three weeks of our initial conversation, subject to specimen availability.
